This movie is the last movie I saw with my father. We both loved it. It was our movie. He was shot twice in the head on January second 2015. Whenever I listen to this song I think of him. Rest In Peace pops.

Seriously? Commercials in the middle of such a piece

When Cooper was leaving the home and crying Me was like ahhhhhhhhhhhhh plz dont go ahhhhhhh. With the help of Neil deGrasse Tyson, I now understand this movie. So, what has happened this entire movie is something called the Bootstrap Paradox. A wormhole is mysteriously opened up by what the people called 5th-dimensional beings. They are beings who have control over time and space and can build wormholes, tesseracts, etc. So, after they go into the wormhole and discover the 12 planets and the events of the movie unfold. Cooper goes into the black hole and sends Murph the singularity data. With that, she is able to solve quantum physics and it allows her to know HOW to manipulate time and space and create wormholes, tesseracts, etc. Then, they find humanity's new home, the one Professor Brand is on. They live there and they expand as a species. Then, they create the tesseract that Cooper was in and they create the wormhole that allowed the humans to discover the 12 planets to begin with. The 5th-dimensional beings are actually future humans that went through the same thing. So humans could not create the wormhole unless the events of the movie happened, but the events of the movie could not have happened unless the humans created the wormhole. This is the mind confusing part. This happens because everything always happened. In the 5th dimension, time doesn't exist. Every moment happens forever. So, how can you change something if it's already there? For example, if you build a time machine, which is actually kind of what happened) and try to go back in time to prevent world war I from happening. You try to prevent Franz Ferdinand from getting assassinated, but you end up CAUSING the assassination of Franz Ferdinand. So, essentially, YOU cause world war I by trying to prevent it from happening. It can make your brain hurt, but think about this! If you did stop World War I from happening, then you would never be trying to stop World War I from happening in the first place! So those entire series of events had to unfold exactly as portrayed. The same thing with this, if Cooper was never able to send the data, then the wormhole would never have existed in the first place! So no matter what, no matter what you do to try to change something. It will never change. In fact, your attempts to stop it from happening probably CAUSES it to happen. So that's my understanding. I love Christopher Nolan, the man's a genius.
